JOBY The brief was to develop a cultural action to elevate awareness of the brand and engage in the creative community. JOBY Inspired was conceived as a three week long gallery, store and event space. Sourcing a vacant 4000 sqft retail space in a prime location, we used large scale constructional cardboard and highly bright newsprint to create a retail and gallery space. Bringing in three partner brands to supplement the Joby offering, the multi brand store ran alongside an exhibition of leading U.S. designers’ interpretation of Joby products. The whole store was hand illustrated by artist and designer Susannah Bettag and 5000 printed poster/newspapers were the starting point for a hugely successful interaction titled, “I’m inspired when_____”.

On the last night, constructional cardboard walls were torn down and rebuilt into a 36 ft long dinning table and benches, farm to table chef Leif Hedendal worked out of a temporary kitchen to produce a feast of Californian cuisine.
