To have an object accepted within a permanent collection of one of the world’s major museums is exciting—to have four objects is a great honor. The SFMOMA's 246 And Counting exhibition is a review of the articles accepted into the permanent collection of the museum's architecture and design department since curator Henry Urbach joined the staff in September 2006. Four items from the CITIZEN:Citizen collection were accepted into the permanent collection and were on view within the exhibition.
